Finally got one in range. Sneaky old doe, she was. She eased out of the clearcut between the trails. Unlucky for her, I had finished putting up a new lock on type stand in that tree about an hour earlier and without time to go to a different stand, I climbed right in. There are trails about 30 yds on either side of this tree, but with her coming out between the trails, she was on top of me when she stepped out. Afraid to move my feet for fear of spooking her, I had to twist around to make the shot. I must not have twisted far enough and pulled the shot back a little hitting her back in the ribs a bit. However, that 100 gr 3-blade Muzzy turned a marginal shot into a very successful one. She only made it about 100 yds before I heard her flop over. Meat in da freezer! Jerry in MS. Thanks Everybody!!!!!!! She was a smart old gal, that had made it thru several years...only about 1/4 inch of her 3rd molar was visible above the jawbone. Once again, Thanks Everyone! I do truly appreciate the kind words! Jerry in MS. Teach your kids to hunt and you won't have to hunt for your kids.

Congrats....I love muzzy...took a doe yesterday and the shot went a bit forward and went straight through her shoulder and she dropped in her tracks...I couldn't believe it...couldn't get the blade out until I hung her and jammed it through the other side...broke off all but one blade but it took her out quick......
