South African Safari
Shortly before his 50th birthday, the author’s wife asked him how he’d like to celebrate the event by giving him a choice between a Dall’s sheep hunt in Alaska or his first South African Safari. Frankly, it was a win-win proposition and we think he chose wisely.

Africa At Last
Ever since he was a young boy, the author admits to being endlessly haunted by the Dark Continent. He’d read the books by Hemingway, J.A. Hunter and others and dreamed of the day when he might get an opportunity to set foot on this enchanting landscape and hunt some of its game. That day came on June 26, 2006.
